Biography

Brian Richardson, PT, SCS, CSCS, is a licensed Physical Therapist and Sports Certified Specialist for Bone and Joint Rehabilitation Services. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis in 1997 and a Master of Science in Exercise Science from Middle Tennessee State University in 2004. He has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 2004 and a Sports Certified Specialist since 2012. He holds certifications in Blood Flow Restriction, Integrative Dry Needling and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). Brian has spent his career treating orthopaedic and sports related conditions. He has provided rehabilitation to professional athletes (NFL, MLB, and NHL), collegiate athletes, high school athletes and those patients who want to return to their highest level of function. He has been published on topics including ACL rehabilitation, knee osteoarthritis rehabilitation and rotator cuff rehabilitation as well as co-authored chapters in various textbooks on shoulder rehabilitation. His personal interests include being an active member of Brentwood Baptist Church, spending time with his wife and children, playing golf, traveling and coaching youth sports.
