FRANKLIN, Tenn. — On Wednesday, March 21, the Bone Joint Institute of Tennessee along with its orthopaedic surgical partner, Williamson Medical Center, will welcome 10 orthopaedic surgeons to the practice. The nationally and internationally recognized physicians will join Dr. Michael McNamara and Dr. Geoffrey Watson, all of whom were most recently practicing at Vanderbilt Bone and Joint in Franklin. Orthopaedic surgeons joining the Institute on March 21:
“My colleagues and I are excited to begin this new chapter and are pleased to have Williamson Medical Center as our medical partner”, said John Klekamp, M.D., who will serve as the physician chairman of the group. “Even though we are practicing under a different name, it is the same great care that our patients and community have come to expect. We have an amazing opportunity to lead the future of orthopaedic care for our area and we are committed to doing just that while providing compassionate, patient-centric care that we are known for.”
The Institute will also experience another milestone on Wednesday as they open their new medical offices on the second and fourth floor in the Williamson Tower at Williamson Medical Center. With over 12,000 square feet between the two spaces, the suites will be outfitted with large and comfortable waiting areas, 36 consultation rooms, and will share in-house imaging services. The spaces will serve as a temporary home for the Institute as they await the completion of their new, state-of-the-art facility which is on track to open in the summer of 2019.
