Biography

Casey T. Davidson, M.D., specializes in orthopaedic spine surgery at the Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee and sees patients at clinics at the main office in Franklin. He offers advanced techniques for treating complex problems of the spine, including alternatives to spinal fusion that can help preserve motion. Davidson completed his medical training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He participated in an AOSpine visiting fellowship with Dr. Paul Heini, M.D., at Sonnenhofspital in Bern, Switzerland, and then went on to complete his spine surgery fellowship with OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, N.C. He and his wife have 3 daughters, and enjoy traveling, attending live music concerts and participating in outdoor activities.

They got me into see Dr. Davidson within 3 hours of talking to the receptionist which is unheard of nowadays. They got me right back to see him as I was in severe back pain and Dr. Davidson gave me a through examination and explained very thoroughly what my nerve problem was and the course of treatment to follow to see if we can get over this pain. His bedside manners are excellent and a real pleasure to talk to. He didn’t rush and explained everything very well. I would definitely recommend Dr. Davidson to anyone needing a back or spine treatment to relieve the pain.
