Physical Therapist Assistant • Spring Hill

Biography

Angel Shipman, PTA has practiced as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the outpatient therapy setting for 27 years, primarily in the Franklin and Spring Hill, TN areas. She received her Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from Alderson-Broadus University in West Virginia before continuing on to receive her Associates Degree at Marshall University in Applied Science (Physical Therapist Assistant).

 

Angel has a passion for treating patients of all ages, and has vast experience in treating post-operative conditions, sports injuries, spine-related conditions, and chronic and acute pain. She has furthered her training though advanced study of the McKenzie method, Ola Grimsby Institute, Pain Neuroscience and various manual therapy courses. She proudly serves as a clinical instructor for students from Volunteer State Community College.

 

Angel strives to motivate her patients to their highest level of function.  A highlight of her career was a medical mission trip with Live Beyond in Haiti, where she provided health care to a large community with a focus on children. In her spare time, she enjoys weight lifting, hiking, gardening, traveling to the beach, spending time with family and friends, and worshipping at Thompson’s Station Church.
