A native of Franklin, Brian Perkinson, M.D., received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Tennessee Knoxville, his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and completed his residency at Campbell Clinic Orthopaedics in Memphis. He completed fellowship training in adult reconstruction; total and partial joint replacement at the Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic in Alexandria, Virginia. He is a member of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He and his wife have three children and enjoy spending time traveling and learning about other cultures.
