26 Jun Rivas Joins Dr. Zachary Kalb’s Medical Team as Nurse Practitioner
Mindi Rivas, ANP-BC, has joined Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee as a nurse practitioner.
“We welcome Mindi to our growing team,” said Darren Harris, Bone and Joint Institute CEO. “Her expertise in spinal conditions and experience in Middle Tennessee will benefit Bone and Joint Institute and our patients as we continue our commitment to high-quality orthopaedic services across Williamson County.”
Rivas, ANP-BC, is working as a certified nurse practitioner with Zachary Kalb, D.O. at BJIT. Since graduating with a Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in 2011, Rivas has been a nurse practitioner in Murfreesboro before joining BJIT. A 2003 graduate of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, she also spent time working with BYU’s football and softball teams and BYU Idaho’s football and men’s basketball programs as an athletic trainer. Currently a member of the American Nurses Association and the Tennessee Nurses Association, Rivas previously earned clinical experience hours at Williamson Medical Center with the orthopaedic surgery unit and in the emergency room.
