Claire Smith, PA-C

Claire Smith is a certified physician assistant to Todd Wurth, M.D., at the Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee. Originally from Jacksonville, Fla., Smith completed her bachelor’s degree in applied physiology and kinesiology from the University of Florida and was a pole vaulter on the UF track and field team. She continued her education receiving her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Nova Southeastern University. She received her certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) in the state of Tennessee. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). Smith and her husband, James, recently had a baby girl. In her free time, Smith enjoys anything outdoors, exercising, cooking and watching football.
