09 Aug Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee announces new physical therapist

Micah Washington, PT, has joined Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee (BJIT) and will be treating patients in Bone and Joint Institute’s Brentwood location at 101 Creekside Crossing, Suite 1100, in the Publix shopping center.
“Micah is a great addition to the Bone and Joint Institute team,” said Dave Kempfert, PT, Bone and Joint Institute’s director of Rehabilitation Services. “His passion for sports medicine and extensive experience in physical therapy will serve our patients in the Brentwood area well as we continue to grow.”
Washington has been practicing in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy for 16 years. He graduated from Tennessee State University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and went on to earn his master’s in physical therapy in 2007. Washington has worked with people of all ages and various orthopedic conditions and has a passion for working with athletes and active populations.
